Public funds managers, excluding county treasurers, who invest in only interim deposits with eligible public depositories (ORC 135.08
), no-load money market mutual funds (ORC 135.14
) or STAR Ohio (ORC 135.14
), or STAR Plus
) may annually file for exemption from the continuing education requirement found in Ohio Revised Code 135.22.

You may file the Annual Notice of Exemption Form electronically by clicking on the Submit button
located at the bottom of the exemption form. You must have an email account in order to file your form electronically
After completing the form, a pop up box will appear asking whether you have a “Desktop Email Application” or an “Internet Email.”
After selecting which type you have, a new email message will open with your completed Exemption Form attached. The recipient email address (email@example.com
) will automatically be populated, and all you need to do is click send to submit the form.
If an email message with the Exemption Form attached does not appear when you click the Submit button, we did NOT receive your form. Contact your IT department or submit the form either by fax or mail.
