What is Smart Money Choices:

Smart Money Choices is an educational series that consists of financial education programs, workshops, and conferences designed specifically for various Ohio communities.  These outreach efforts are made possible by the financial contributions of our sponsors at Western Southern Financial Group, Trinity Debt Management and Ohio Housing Finance Agency.

Treasurer Boyce's Smart Money Choices participants can choose workshops on a variety of topics including: Budgeting, Credit and Debt Management, Elder Care, Entrepreneurship, Estate Planning, Home Ownership, Identity Theft and Fraud Prevention, Insurance, Investments, Advanced Investments, Kids and Money, Stress to Success, Retirement Planning and Social Security. 

In addition to the conference series, the Community Education and Engagement Department also offers workshops and presentations (available upon request); the Center for Public Investment Management (CPIM); Teachers' Academy; the Ohio Governor's Call to Action: Train-the-Trainer; Real Money, Real World; and Ohio Saves.

By sharing the Treasurer's financial expertise and resources, this program empowers Ohioans to make confident, informed decisions about their personal finances.
