Amended Substitute Senate Bill 311 will require Ohio school districts to implement personal financial education into their high school curriculum beginning in the fall of 2010 for the graduating class of 2014. This well-developed program, utilizing public and corporate support, provides a substantive approach through school district participation in the Teachers Academy. More than 700 teachers participated in these workshops in 2007 and 2008.
By sharing student-friendly materials, innovative resources, and instruction, we help provide teachers and school officials with materials to engage students in an interactive personal finance experience they can understand.
