Jonathan Downes has over 30 years of experience in practicing labor and employment law in Ohio and has successfully negotiated over 500 labor agreements and has presented over 100 impasse proceedings and 100 arbitrations. He represents cities, townships, counties, school districts, and public officials throughout the State of Ohio. Jonathan also represents private employers in employment matters. He has argued cases before the Ohio Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Jonathan is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. Jonathan is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. Jonathan has been selected as one of the “Best Lawyers in America – Employment and Labor Law” every year since 2010, as an “Ohio Super Lawyer” every year since 2004, one of “Central Ohio Top Lawyers” since 2009, and received the OHPELRA “Award of Excellence” in 2016. He is also certified by the Ohio State Bar Association (“OSBA”) as a Specialist in Labor and Employment law. He lectures frequently on many topics including state and federal employment and labor law developments, civil rights, civil service, arbitration, and collective bargaining. Jonathan served on the Civil Service Review Commission for the State of Ohio, authored “Civil Service Law in Ohio,” and edits the Westlaw annual publication of the “Ohio Civil Service and Collective Bargaining Laws and Rules Annotated.” Jonathan was a member of the OSBA’s Board of Governors for the Labor and Employment Law Section, is a member of the Ohio Management Lawyers Association, and a charter member and past president of the Ohio Public Employers Labor Relations Association. Kevin earned his B.S. degree in comprehensive science from Ashland College. Prior to joining OPERS, Kevin spent 8 years as a Financial Advisor and Guided Portfolio Manager with the Columbus office of Smith Barney. Gordon joined OPERS in September 2009 as the Government Relations Officer and became a
member of the leadership team in January 2017. As Director of External
Relations, Gordon is responsible for oversight of Government Relations,
Communications, and Corporate Governance. He is responsible for coordinating
OPERS' position on legislative issues, proxy policy guideline adherence, advocacy,
and communications strategies.
Prior to joining the OPERS team, Gordon held numerous positions within the Ohio
Department of Commerce and the former Ohio Department of Industrial Relations
over a span of about 19 years -- including Assistant Director and Interim
Director.
Gordon earned his Bachelor of Arts in communications from Capital University and
attended Capital University Law School.

Nate Greenhas over 19 years of economic development experience and provides economic development services, strategic planning, public finance and incentives, and financial advisory services to communities, companies, developers, port authorities, and organizations.
Prior to joining the Montrose Group, LLC, Mr. Green was a Vice President, Public Finance for Piper Jaffray, was a manager at JobsOhio where he implemented and oversaw the JobsOhio Network and large projects across Ohio, served as Director of the Strategic Business Investment Division at the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) where he oversaw the offices of business development, grants and tax incentives, financial incentives, and loans and servicing. Mr. Green also served as Economic Development Director for the Pickaway Progress Partnership, an economic development corporation for Pickaway County, served as Corporate Finance Manager at the Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority and began his career at the ODOD.

Robin L. Bell, Esq.is the Regional Manager for Clemans Nelson and Associates, Inc., for the Akron Regional Office.
