He has over 12 years of investment experience. As Portfolio Manager of the Meeder Money Market Fund, he has been recognized with the Money Fund Intelligence Award by Crane Data in 2012 and 2013 and the “Top Manager Award” from iMoneyNet in 2011 and 2014. Each of those years the Fund ranked highest in the United States amongst all prime retail money market funds. He is an instructor at various educational seminars.

Ted has over 18 year experience working with government investors.  Ted joined Huntington Capital Markets in December of 2013 as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Institutional Investments for Ohio, West Virginia and Indiana markets. Prior to joining Huntington, Ted spent fourteen years with Fifth Third’s Institutional Investments Group.  Ted specializes in fixed income investments for national and local institutions, including money managers, mutual funds, hedge funds, financial institutions, insurance companies, governments, schools, corporations and not-for-profit entities.  

Ted has been certified as a speaker for the Center for Public Investment Management and is a volunteer in the local American Heart Association, Starfire Council and United Way.   Ted received a B.S. in Business from Miami University (1992) and a J.D. from Loyola University at Chicago (1996).  Ted also graduated from Culver Military Academy’s summer program (1986). Ted is Series 7 and 63 licensed and retired status as an attorney.

Zach Amendolea joined the office of Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel in March of 2015. Mr. Amendolea oversees daily operations of the Liquidity Fund of the Ohio Regular Account and assists with the management of STAR Ohio. Prior to arriving at the Treasurer’s office, Zach worked as a taxable fixed income trader at Huntington National Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Kent State University and a Master of Business Administration from Ohio University. In addition, Mr. Amendolea is a CFA charterholder.

With experience in many aspects of public finance law, Jennifer Blaser serves as bond and underwriters counsel in numerous traditional governmental financing transactions. Specifically, her focus includes working with cities, counties, townships and school districts throughout the State of Ohio to finance their capital projects.  As bond counsel, Jennifer has facilitated bond and note issues for traditional governmental projects such as primary and secondary education, fire and public safety buildings and equipment, building improvements and libraries. Jennifer also serves as special counsel in connection with lease and lease-purchase financings.  Jennifer also assists a majority of the Columbus office's municipal clients with their SEC annual disclosure requirements.  Ms. Blaser is a frequent speaker at firm-sponsored client seminars, as well as for the Buckeye Association of School Administrators, the County Auditor’s Association of Ohio, the Ohio Association of School Business Officials and the Ohio School Boards Association.

Marc Kamer handles a wide variety of project financings for traditional governmental purposes, like roads and bridges, and tax-exempt financings for 501(c)(3) organizations such as healthcare providers, institutions of higher education and public and private K-12 schools.

Marc's experience also includes authoring legislation relating to finance and construction initiatives and amendments to modernize existing finance and construction programs. He also devotes a substantial amount of his time to economic development (tax incentives, tax abatements and tax increment financing), as well as energy-related transactions. He has represented parties on P3 transactions including design-build-finance-operate-maintain agreements and related alternative project delivery/finance models for infrastructure projects.

Jeremy Rzepka joined the Ohio Treasurer’s office in September 2016 as Deputy Legal Counsel. As Deputy Legal Counsel, Mr. Rzepka focuses on financial institutions, public finance, and public law. Prior to joining the Treasurer’s office, he worked in public accounting as a financial institutions auditor and he is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Rzepka received his Juris Doctor from the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

Mrs. Lewis oversees the Legislative, Policy and Constituent Affairs Department which serves as the liaison between the Treasurer’s office and the General Assembly. The department also identifies, researches, and develops policy positions and initiatives affecting the Treasurer’s office. Prior to arriving at the Treasurer’s office, Lizz worked as a Policy Advisor for former Speaker of the House, William G. Batchelder. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Kent State University.
