Michael Valo is a Managing Director of Institutional Investments in Capital Markets for Huntington.  With over 13 years of investment experience, Mike works with Corporate, Government, Non-Profit and Higher Education entities to help them implement investment strategies designed to meet stated risk and return objectives while addressing unique liquidity needs.  Prior to his current role, he helped build the Equity Derivatives structuring department, which has provided valuable experience in strategic investment creation.  Mike has also held the role of Product Manager for Funds and Alternative Strategies.  During his time with Huntington, Mike has worked with various asset classes including equity, fixed income, commodities and currencies.  Mike obtained a Bachelor of Science with major focus in Finance and minor focus in Philosophy from The Ohio State University.  He holds the series 7 and series 66 licenses.  He currently lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife, Stacey, and their dog, Jack.

Zach Amendolea joined the office of Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel in March of 2015. Mr. Amendolea oversees daily operations of the Liquidity Fund of the Ohio Regular Account and assists with the management of STAR Ohio. Prior to arriving at the Treasurer’s office, Zach worked as a taxable fixed income trader at Huntington National Bank. Jonathan Azoff is the Director of the Office of Debt Management and Senior Counsel with the Ohio Treasurer’s office.  In that capacity, he manages the debt issuance process for the various general obligation, revenue, and special obligations for which the Treasurer serves as the issuing authority. He also oversees the servicing of the State’s approximately $10.5 billion debt portfolio.

Jonathan is an advisory board member of the National Association of State Treasurers—State Debt Management Network.  Prior to joining the State, he was an attorney with the law firm of Arnall Golden Gregory LLP in Atlanta, Georgia.  Jonathan earned his J.D. from the Emory University School of Law and his B.A. from Tulane University.

Brian Regueiro joined PFM in 2013 and is a Senior Managing Consultant in the Columbus office. He provides project management and support for a number of clients, as well as services such as sizing and structuring bond issues, analyzing debt, conducting refunding analyses, developing comprehensive debt profiles and creating Excel-based cash flow models. He has provided assistance and/or project management on various types of bonds and notes, including general obligation and revenue-secured financings.

Lisa Eisenberg is the Director of the Office of Debt Management with the Ohio Treasurer’s Office. She has been directly involved in the issuance and sale of over $7 billion in new money and refunding bonds comprising 50+ transactions across five unique credits for the State of Ohio. She also facilitates timely repayment of the State’s $10.5 billion debt portfolio and serves as administrator for the Ohio Market Access Program.

With experience in many aspects of public finance law, Jennifer Blaser serves as bond and underwriters counsel in numerous traditional governmental financing transactions. Specifically, her focus includes working with cities, counties, townships and school districts throughout the State of Ohio to finance their capital projects.  As bond counsel, Jennifer has facilitated bond and note issues for traditional governmental projects such as primary and secondary education, fire and public safety buildings and equipment, building improvements and libraries. Ms. Cannon is a Director in PNC’s Columbus Public Finance Group and is responsible for expanding PNC’s presence in the local government sector in Ohio.  She has over 13 years of experience in public finance with a primary focus on Ohio school districts and local government issuers.  Ms. Cannon recently joined PNC after spending the last four years as a municipal advisor with Rockmill Financial Consulting, where she was a founding member.  She has served as lead banker or lead municipal advisor on over $1.5 billion in financings and refundings in the capital markets, both on a negotiated and competitive bid basis, as well as leading direct placement transactions for school districts and local municipalities.  Ms. Cannon graduated from Mount Saint Joseph University in Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science degree and later obtained an MBA from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus.  She currently maintains the FINRA Municipal Securities Representative (Series 52) and Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63) licenses.

David Tiggett is a Director with KeyBanc Capital Markets.  Mr. Tiggett joined Key in 2017.  Prior to joining Key, Mr. Tiggett worked for William Blair & Co. and Fifth Third Securities, where he helped led the firm’s expansion in the Midwest region.  Mr. Tiggett has over 12 years of experience underwriting transactions for Ohio municipalities, school districts, higher educational institutions and agencies of the State of Ohio, totaling over $7 Billion.  Having previously served as an issuer official with the Office of Debt management for the Ohio Treasurer’s Office, Mr. Tiggett brings a valuable perspective of both issuer and municipal banker.

Sam Adams joined KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. in 2016. He was previously at PNC Capital Markets and Lancaster Pollard (a boutique mortgage and investment bank). He has been working with public finance clients for 6 years.  Mr. Adams has experience structuring debt solutions for clients in public finance, including Municipalities, School Districts and project developments ranging from affordable housing to healthcare. Mr. Adams specializes in assisting school districts with structured debt solutions and credit rating analysis and optimization. Katie Kleinfelder has worked with municipal clientele since she began her career with Seasongood & Mayer 14 years ago. She was the first woman hired by the firm as a municipal investment banker while she completed her law degree. As a Director with RBC Capital Markets, she works with a broad array of general obligation and revenue credits in Ohio including school districts, universities and colleges, cities, villages, counties and townships.  Her career has allowed her to gain expertise in all sectors of Ohio public finance, and she is the company’s expert on Ohio municipalities, specifically.

Katie personally analyzed and structured over $6 billion of short- and long-term financings.  She has extensive experience financing and refinancing various revenue based funding programs, including various taxable and tax-exempt, fixed and variable rate structures.  Over the past five years, Katie has served a diverse list of municipal clients as senior managing underwriter including the following selected clients: City of Cleveland, Cleveland State University, the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, the City of Kettering, the City of Lima, Denison University, Lakewood City School District, Middletown City School District, The Ohio State University, Northwest Local School District (Hamilton County), and Youngstown State University.
