Ken is a principal in Rea’s governmental services group.  He has responsibility for the management of a variety of services provided to the firm’s clients that includes consulting and attestation engagements. His experience includes working for the Auditor of State as a financial audit manager and as a Senior Deputy Auditor in charge of the fraud division. 

Ken has instructed many technical courses for the Central Ohio Chapter of the Association of Governmental Accountants, various CPA firms, and several professional societies and governments in Ohio, and he is a faculty member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a technical review committee member for the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) where he volunteers his time to review Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports (CAFRs) for governments that participate in the award-winning program. Ken has served as Treasurer for the Granville Schools Levy Committee and the Friends of the Granville Public Library.  He also served as a trustee of the Granville Public Library and chaired the Finance Committee.  

Ken earned his BSBA degree in Accounting from Walsh University. He is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio. He is also a licensed Ohio School District Treasurer. Ken is a member of the following professional organizations: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, Ohio Government Finance Officers Association, Association of Government Accountants, and Ohio Association of School Business Officials.  Ken also holds an Advanced Single Audit Certificate form the AICPA.

Teresa Hicks is a Quality Assurance and Technical Specialist in the Center for Audit Excellence Division of the Ohio Auditor of State’s Office.  She has held various other positions as well in her over 21 years with the Auditor’s office, ranging from intern to Assistant Audit III.  Teresa’s areas of specialty include federal grants, Agreed Upon Procedure Engagements and Basic Audits. She is currently the Center’s Single Audit Coordinator. 

Teresa has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the Bethany College and a Master degree in Business Administration from Franciscan University of Steubenville.   She is a member of the Central Ohio Chapter of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) and the AICPA. Teresa is also a member of the Single Audit Committee for the National State Auditors Association (NSAA).

Matt is a Senior Forensic Audit Manager in the Special Investigations Unit for Auditor of State Keith Faber.
The Special Investigations Unit is responsible for conducting limited scope fraud and investigative audits of
state and local government subdivisions to examine allegations of fraud, theft, and misappropriation involving
public funds. Matt was involved in the investigation of the Columbus City Schools Data Integrity audit.  Matt has been with the Auditor of State’s office since 2007, beginning his career as a financial auditor in the
State Region and later as an Audit Manager. Matt earned both his Master and Bachelor degrees from the
University of Dayton and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Craig Morgan currently is a Fraud Investigator with the Auditor of State’s Special Investigations Unit. He is
responsible for conducting investigations involving allegations of potential criminal activity such as public
corruption, fraud, and misappropriation of public funds throughout the State of Ohio.  Mr. Morgan has over 45 years of investigative experience in the areas of government program fraud, financial
crimes, and public corruption. He has served as a police officer in Ohio, held investigative and supervisory
positions with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office and Ohio Ethics Commission, and is retired from Federal
law enforcement after more than 21 years as a Special Agent and Supervisory Special Agent.  Mr. Morgan holds a B.A. degree in Criminal Justice from Ohio Dominican University, and successfully
completed the Management Development Program sponsored by The Ohio State University, School of Public
Administration. He has served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Central Ohio Technical College in the law
enforcement/criminal justice program, and has been an instructor and presenter for a number of organizations
including the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and the U.S. Department of Justice National
Advocacy Center (NAC).

Scott Reeser is a supervising project manager with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) in Norwalk, Connecticut. He is currently working on GASB projects related to fiduciary activities, reexamination of the financial reporting model, and debt disclosures. Previously, he has worked on projects leading to statements on accounting and financial reporting for postemployment benefits, financial guarantees, and transactions reported as deferred outflows of resources and deferred inflows of resources. Before joining the staff of the GASB in 2010, Mr. Reeser spent ten years working for the Office of the Comptroller in the State of Illinois. During that time, Mr. Reeser was responsible for the coordination and preparation of the state’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and the development of statewide accounting policies. His previous experience also includes over five years with a public accounting firm performing financial and compliance audits of not-for-profit entities and governmental agencies. Mr. Reeser is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
