Cash-basis forecasting can play an important role in the budgetary process, along with more accurately assessing the future financial health of an entity. Forecasts can also be great informational resources when communicating with others, especially when seeking additional streams of revenue and other policy changes. Attendees will receive an introductory overview of financial forecasts, their importance, and best practices to forecast in certain scenarios and for the future.
