Jeff earned his BS in business management from Hiram College and is a licensed Ohio Public School Business Manager with over 17 years of proven business management experience including 9 years as Director of Business Management of Olentangy Local Schools and 3 years as Director of Business Affairs for Crestwood Local Schools. Jeff’s school business experience ranges from a district with 4 schools and 1,600 students to a district with 23 schools and over 18,000 students. Jeff has extensive experience in capital and facility mid-term and long-term planning with the Olentangy Local School District which has been the fastest growing school district in Ohio over the last decade creating extreme demands for facility construction, renovation and maintenance. Jeff is associated with K-12 Business Consulting to provide intermediate and long-term capital planning for equipment, furniture, vehicle replacement, facility maintenance and repair. Janice Allen was one of the first African-American triplets born in Dayton; was one of only 40 women selected from around the U.S. to participate in the University of Dayton’s re-entry engineering program for women with math and science degrees, member of the first graduating class of Chaminade-Julienne and currently represents less than 1 percent of all African-Americans and less than 25 percent of all women school treasurers in the State of Ohio.
Allen joined Trotwood-Madison City School District as treasurer/chief financial officer in November 2011; she is responsible for a $50 million budget that provides resources for over 3,300 students and more than 450 employees. She began her career as a program analyst for NCR Corporation, and after receiving a National Science Foundation scholarship to study electrical engineering at UD, she took a job with Dayton Power & Light as a microwave engineer; responsible for the company’s telecommunications. Her love of numbers brought her to Dayton Public Schools for two decades where she held several financial positions, the last being assistant treasurer.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Allen has a strong history of community service. She was named as one of the 2018 YWCA Dayton Women of Influence. She was crowned Bravo! Dayton’s Favorite Community Role Model by the Opera Guild of Dayton in 2016. Janice is a member of the Dayton Chapter of the Links, Incorporated where she presently serves as the Sponsorship Chair for their annual Cookin Men fundraiser and is the co-chair of the Services to Youth facet. She has served as the local president of this national women’s service organization. She is a member of St. Benedict the Moor Catholic School’s Education Commission. As the Chairperson of the Cardinal Bernardin Awards Banquet program, she helped raise over $30,000 in the last four years to buy playground equipment and computers for the St. Benedict the Moor Catholic School. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority’s International Awareness committee whose main focus is to eradicate human trafficking of young women. She meets weekly as a four year commitment with a Trotwood-Madison High School female student as part of the Montgomery County College Promise Mentor program to help break the cycle of poverty through education.
She presently serves on the UD/West Dayton Steering committee to help sustain an open dialogue between both entities. She has served on the Montgomery County Developmental Disabilities Services Board as secretary to the Board and chair of the Finance Committee, Chaminade-Julienne Board of Trustees as secretary and chair of the Mission and Effectiveness committee, Montgomery County Levy Council and many boards throughout the years.
Her professional organizations include Chair of volunteers for the Ohio Association of School Business Officials (OASBO) Annual Workshop, Vice-President for the Miami Valley School Business Officials (MVSBO), Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), Ohio High School Athletic Association Treasurer Liaison Group and the City of Dayton Tax Incentive Review Council.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Mercyhurst College. Chris has 36 years of successful management experience in all facets of the Hospitality Industry with a concentration in food service management. Chris started his career as Food & Beverage Manager for a corporate hotel in west central Pennsylvania. In less than a year, he was promoted to the largest volume hotel in the corporation. While there, Chris was able to achieve the most efficient beverage and entertainment costs within the corporation. After joining Saga Corporation’s College Food Service Contracts Division, which was acquired by Marriott Corporation and later by Sodexho, Chris managed College and Healthcare operations. During his tenure, Chris was promoted to the Department Director. During his time as the Director, Chris was nominated and won the Financial Accountability Award for the most cost-effective operation in a 7-state region. Also, as the Director, Chris raised the customer satisfaction from the 50th percentile to the 97th percentile among 600 locations. Since joining Springfield City School District, he has eliminated the department’s deficit spending of $380,000 annually to a positive annual balance of $300,000 - $400,000. Chris has also been recognized by OASBO by being nominated as the Food Service Director of the Year for the years 2011 through 2013 and winning in 2013. The Food Service Department at Springfield City School District continues its strong financial performance to operate with a positive balance, including contributing up to $300,000 each fiscal year to the general fund. Ms. Ritter has served as a consultant to Ohio Department of Education with the Academic Distress Commissions and Education Reform. She has over 32 years of successful leadership and management experience having been a Treasurer/CFO for several school districts, including Marysville EVSD, Circleville CSD, Bellevue CSD and West Liberty Salem LSD.

Dale Miller: currently treasurer at the Northeastern Local School District. During his five-year tenure at Springfield City School District, Mr. Miller oversaw a $96 million annual operating budget and prepared award-winning comprehensive annual financial reports and popular annual finance reports.

Todd Griffith has been Treasurer of Licking Heights Local Schools since June 2017. In this position, Mr. Griffith works with the Board of Education and administration to provide prudent financial management and leadership. The Treasurer's Office is responsible for all fiscal operations of the District. This includes budgeting, forecasting, investing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reporting and serving as public records custodian.
Todd joined Licking Heights as Assistant Treasurer July, 2016. Prior to his time at Licking Heights, Mr. Griffith served as an administrator for South-Western City Schools, as well as in the treasury department at Vandalia-Butler City Schools. Before entering the public sector, Mr. Griffith worked in the financial industry for several years.
Mr. Griffith received his undergraduate degree from Ohio University and completed his Treasurer’s coursework from the University of Dayton. He holds an active School Treasurer license. Mr. Griffith is a member of the Ohio Association of School Business Officials.

Karen Auble is in her fifth year with the Ohio Department of Education’s Office of Federal Programs, where she currently serves as Assistant Director, providing management and support for COVID relief funding. Prior to becoming Assistant Director, she was a Program Specialist and State Coordinator for Title I, Part D. Karen’s experience includes two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Botswana, Southern Africa, working with the Ministry of Local Government to improve coordination and capacity of local organizations in addressing HIV/AIDS. She has also been a program consultant with the Ohio Department of Health’s Help Me Grow birth-to-three program, providing curriculum design consultation, evaluation, and technical assistance to state
and local projects, and worked for seven years as a development and communications officer for community-based organizations in Cleveland, Ohio.
