As a member with the firm, Catherine divides her time between a traditional labor practice and employment work. Susan Willeke is an accomplished government - relations professional with more than 20 years’ experience in public affairs, communication and public speaking. Susan joined the Ohio Ethics Commission in 2005 as the Education and Communications Manager where she oversees and conducts educational and communication outreach. In that position, Susan presents approximately 200 speeches annually, develops information strategies regarding agency programs and represents the Ethics Commission to Ohio citizens, the media and the Ohio legislature. Prior to joining the Commission, Susan served in the communications office at the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and as a legislative aide in the Ohio House of Representatives.

This session will be designed to educate Finance Officers in the fundamentals of investing funds under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 135.
We will structure the panel discussion to provide knowledge and useful tools on how to build a successful investment program, regardless of the number of years in the profession or amount/size of funds available to invest.
Incorporating fun themes from the popular TV show “Schitt’s Creek”, we will engage the audience by discussing in panel format topics such as: the latest ideas for investing under ORC 135, best practices of the Finance office to safeguard funds and other pertinent aspects such as depository contracts and AOS requirements. Included on the panel will be investment advisors, a Finance Director and a public fund banker. NOTE: It is not necessary to be familiar with the show in order to learn, participate and enjoy the session.
The session will follow the mission of CPIM by providing investment knowledge to the attendees. The panel discussion w ill provide information and clarification on allowable investments under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 135 as well as insight on how to invest funds in today's challenging and low interest rate environment. Key tenets will focus on how to mitigate investment risk while maximizing returns. The GASB Roundtable will provide a brief overview of upcoming changes in reporting with GASB Statements. Being that most statements are phased in by the size of the entity, there will be some entities who have already started preparing for changes. Moving into groups will give the participants an opportunity to share implementation ideas led by bullet points of changes. Participants will see the overview of statements and then talk about the changes and implementation with the changes in schedules and workpapers prepared for financial reporting purposes.

Don Boian, an accomplished technology leader and award-winning information security expert, is the CyberSecurity Outreach Director for Huntington Bank. In this capacity, he works with customers and commercial clients to raise awareness of Information Security threats and vulnerabilities. He is also responsible for fostering closer partnership with government organizations that work in the cybersecurity space. Prior to this role, Boian served as Huntington’s Chief Information Security Officer for over 2 years.
Prior to joining Huntington, Boian spent 30 years at the National Security Agency and retired as a Defense Intelligence Senior Executive working both offensive and defensive cyber operations.
Active in the cyber security community, Boian serves on the board of the National Technology Security Coalition. He has received numerous service awards including the Chairman Joint Civilian Service Commendation Award, Dr. Louis Tordella Award, Meritorious Civilian Service Award, National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation, and the Joint Meritorious Unit Award. Ashley began her insurance career in at Arthur J. Gallagher & Company as an account executive and later held a marketing role at Philadelphia Insurance Companies. She joined the Huntington team in 2012 as a marketing specialist and in 2014 Ashley accepted the role of marketing manager for the Commercial Lines Department. She specializes in the areas of cyber liability and professional liability and spends time educating clients about their cyber risks both in individual placement discussions and cyber presentations across the agency footprint.
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Kevin F. Nye, the Software Solutions regional account manager for Indiana and Northern Ohio, has a proven ability to listen to customers, – in both the public and private sectors – understand their needs and align strategies, tactics and products to help them achieve goals. Based in Lebanon, Ohio, Software Solutions is a leader in ERP systems for governmental agencies. Nye develops new customer relationships, assists with software installation and follows up with clients to ensure that the software is utilized to its fullest capabilities. Nye previously served as Director of Marketing for Appraisal Research Corporation, a leading governmental mass appraisal company in Ohio and Indiana. He served as a support and implementation specialist for Solana, a leader in ERP software for entities that supply services for the developmentally disabled. He served six years as Henry (Ohio) County Auditor where he shifted the operating budget with a 5% carryover to a nearly 60% carryover while keeping operating expenses flat. Nye also was voted on to Patrick Henry Local School Board, serving two years as president. He began his financial services career as a bookkeeper for Homier and Sons, a large farm implement dealership in Continental and Payne, Ohio. Nye earned his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the University of Toledo in 1991. He resides in northwest Ohio with his wife, Krista, and they have three adult children, Taylor, Zach and Abby.

Mr. Sudsina, CEO of Sudsina & Associates, LLC, provides financial advisory and deal structuring services, plays an active role in the preparation of official statements for clients and regularly prepares issuers for credit rating presentations. His most critical role, however, is providing pricing and structuring oversight to ensure on-market pricing with the most flexible terms for clients' financings. Prior to joining Sudsina & Associates Greg worked in various roles at JP Morgan Chase. There he ran the technology aspect of their Wealth Management trading desk. He has also served as a risk management analyst for the JP Morgan Institutional Bond department where corporate client accounts ranged from $100 million to $12 billion. He has spent time in multiple equity research roles in Columbus and Chicago and in a more analytical role he researched trading slippage costs of different brokers.
