Robert William Dolan (Bob) has been working in the accounting profession for approximately 42 years. He graduated from Cleveland State University in June 1990 after spending fifteen years (part full time, part night school) working towards his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting. Bob received his certificate as a Certified Public Accountant in 1996 and is currently active. He has spent the last twenty-three years in the public sector. Bob was employed with the City of Cleveland for eight years where he served in the positions of City Controller and Deputy Commissioner of Accounts. Alex was most recently an analytics consultant for a BlueCross BlueShield health plan. In his role, he collaborated with leaders in the care management division to quantify the value of the services they provide to the members of the health plan. Prior to starting his full-time professional career, Alex spent 7 months as an analyst intern for three+one. He went on to graduate summa cum laude from St. John Fisher College with a degree in Economics. Upon graduating, he received the St. John Fisher College Award in Economics for demonstrating outstanding academic success in the area of Economics, and the Honors Award for Academic Achievement for having great academic success in the Honors Program. Matt Waldo serves as Director of Research and Analysis at JobsOhio. In this role, Matt leads competitive intelligence research at JobsOhio, the state’s private economic development corporation. Since its creation, JobsOhio and its partners have successfully served over 2,500 companies including over 450 new-to-Ohio investments.
Previously, Matt led strategic research in economic development and higher education for 10 years, most recently starting and managing an economic and workforce development consultancy. Prior to that, Matt led research for the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, and Ivy Tech Community College. During that time, Matt developed and taught the first graduate course in Sustainable Metropolitan Development at Indiana University, and was elected to the Board of Directors of the Council for Community and Economic Research (C2ER).
Matt has expertise in business intelligence, labor markets, tax and incentive policy, economic impact analysis, urban planning, and strategic planning. Matt has authored more than two-dozen reports, twice winning national awards from C2ER for Research Supporting Business Development. Most recently Matt authored “A Data-Driven Guide to Business Retention and Expansion Programs” for the Ohio Economic Development Institute (October 2018). Jeff has more than two decades of experience in Ohio’s economic development. Having previously served as an issuer official with the Office of Debt management for the Ohio Treasurer’s Office, Mr. Tiggett brings a valuable perspective of both issuer and municipal banker.
Mr. Tiggett is a Board Member of the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, Board Member of Life Care Allicance, Vice President of the Russ Hellickson Central Ohio Youth Wrestling League, the Director of the Upper Arlington Mat Cubs Wrestling Program, a past Finance Committee Member for the Wexner Heritage Village, a past Member of the Citizen’s Advisory Committee for the Franklin County Children’s Services and a past Volunteer for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Columbus, Ohio.

Dean Mead is Senior Research Manager at the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), overseeing the GASB’s research agenda, managing external research, interfacing with the academic community, and coordinating constituent outreach. Dean is an adjunct member of the accounting faculty at Rutgers Business School, where he teaches governmental accounting & auditing, governmental financial analysis, and advanced topics in governmental accounting. He is a member of the Association for Budgeting and Financial Management, American Accounting Association, National Federation of Municipal Analysts, Municipal Analysts Group of New York, American Association of Public Opinion Research, Governmental Research Association, and other organizations. Dean is the author of the GASB’s User Guide Series. In 2015, Dean received the Award for Excellence from the National Federation of Municipal Analysts for his efforts to educate municipal analysts about governmental accounting through his publications and presentations.

Crosby is the Director of Learning for The Ohio Society of CPAs. In her role, she is responsible for oversight of the strategy and planning for the over 400 learning products and services offered by OSCPA. Prior to her work with the society, she was the Founder and President of Petra Learning LLC, a professional training and development company and was a full-time faculty member at Columbus State Community College (CSCC) teaching Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Auditing. Crosby was an Executive Director in the Advisory Risk Practice of Ernst Young, LLP. She spent 14 years at EY leading various types of internal audit, internal control, finance, and enterprise risk management projects. She has helped numerous companies define and implement processes and procedures to comply with new financial accounting standards and calculate the impact of adoption. Crosby is a CPA licensed in PA and OH, a Certified Treasury Professional, and a member of the IIA, AICPA, Ohio Society of CPAs, American Society for Training and Development, and the National Association of Women Business Owners. She received her B.S.B.A. in Accounting from Duquesne University and her MBA from Franklin University.

Tom Ricchiuto is a manager in Baker Tilly’s Columbus, Ohio office.
