Loveland City School District Joins OhioCheckbook.com

Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague today announced that the Loveland City School District (Hamilton County) has joined OhioCheckbook.com

“I’m happy to welcome Loveland City Schools as our newest partner on OhioCheckbook.com,” said Treasurer Sprague. “By posting their finances on the Ohio Checkbook, the district is demonstrating its commitment to transparency and giving taxpayers a direct look at where their money is going.”

The Loveland City School District is the 12th school district in Hamilton County to join OhioCheckbook.com. The district’s online checkbook includes more than 44,700 individual transactions that represent over $89.7 million in spending from July 2018 through November 2019.

“Serving the students, families, faculty, and community stakeholders as part of Loveland City School District is an honor and privilege,” said district treasurer Kevin Hawley. “It is important that the taxpayers, investing in the district, have confidence that their monetary resources are being dedicated to the education and well-being of the student population. I hope the Ohio Checkbook demonstrates my hard work and commitment to be a faithful steward of the financial resources the taxpayers of this district entrust me with.“

Since its launch, OhioCheckbook.com has garnered the interest of those hoping to learn more about how Ohio’s tax dollars are spent.
