This course will cover an overview of current issues that will impact the May 2024 five-year forecast including: a review of potential concerns over property values in reappraisals, the impact of lowering the 20 mill floor which impacts 374 districts, updates on fair school funding plan and finally reviewing the new state funding projector for FY25 just released by the Department of Workforce and Education. The discussion will also include FY25 DEW funding simulations and how they impact the forecast for FY25-28 with the record high assessed values.

The webinar will update all participants with data they need on local property taxes and state funding for school districts to better equip them to make a five-year forecast.
