Robert Sprague currently serves as Ohio’s 49th Treasurer of State. As Treasurer, he is the chief investment officer for the state’s investment and debt portfolios, oversees the daily cash flows of state monies, and serves as custodian of certain funds and investment assets outside the state treasury.

Inaugural project exceeds key metrics in first year
The iSee project currently delivers vision care services to students in high-needs areas across Ohio’s 32 Appalachian counties. Free services include vision screenings, eye exams, and new prescription glasses.
New Initiative Aims to Modernize Investment Strategies
The Treasurer’s office is working to invest more of Ohio’s tax dollars in Ohio. The Ohio Gains proposal aims to bolster support for the state’s agriculture community, health systems, and public universities.
