Center for Public Investment Management (CPIM)
Administered through the Ohio Treasurer’s office, the Center for Public Investment Management (CPIM) provides professional development education to local government fiscal officers across the Buckeye State. A local government fiscal officer plays a critical and direct role in the success of a community and its ability to maintain a strong financial foundation. Each day, these officials are entrusted to manage and protect public funds on behalf of hard-working taxpayers. Through CPIM, the Treasurer’s office is committed to helping fiscal officers remain up-to-speed on the latest trends and practice in the world of public finance. CPIM curriculum is updated regularly and covers a variety of topics such as finance, investment, cash management, debt management, ethics, cyber security, fraud prevention, and much, much more. These comprehensive offerings include live webinars, online courses, and in-person learning opportunities facilitated by the Treasurer’s office and professional associations.
