This course will provide an overview of ESEA Federal Programs districts receive through their Consolidated Funding Application. Participants will learn about allowable uses of funds, each programs intent and purpose, required fiscal components, monitoring reviews for funds and resources available.
Statement of Accreditation Rationale: Understanding the ESEA requirements and intent and purpose is critical for school treasurers as they make budgeting decisions for the funds. The program side of the funds is often not presented to treasurers, however, much of the review for these programs is around evidence of the program and monitoring for effectiveness.
