A NEW ERA OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IS EMERGING ACROSS THE BUCKEYE STATE.
On October 26, the Center for Public Investment Management (CPIM) will host a new and specialized education track:
Leadership in Public Finance and Economic Development
The Role of Fiscal Officers in Ohio’s Future
Government fiscal officers play a critical role in establishing and maintaining a community’s readiness to pursue ambitious new economic development projects. However, the world of public finance is ever evolving, and it can be challenging to stay current on all the latest trends, tools, and best practices that can assist in your decision-making.
To help your community stay ahead of the game, the offices of Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague and Ohio Auditor Keith Faber have collaborated to develop a unique and specialized CPIM curriculum tailored to the role government fiscal officers play in economic development planning and preparedness.
Courses will include:
Thursday, October 26, 2023
The Fawcett Center
2400 Olentangy River Road
Columbus, Ohio 43210
Attendees will be provided with a light breakfast and boxed lunches. Other than the annual $100 fee to earn credits under the CPIM program, there is no additional cost to attend. Non-CPIM participants are encouraged and welcomed to attend, but must pay a $100 registration fee.
